    Description

    Offering a reasonably priced ,flamboyant lime August'64 Schwinn Sting Ray . Might not be an all original minty rare example, but is priced affordably, makin it a kool cruising candidate!
    Paint has obvious top bar wear + bike has some touchup, w/ majority being on fork. I restenciled top bar "SCHWINN" + chainguard logo. The fork darts are dreaded stickon variety, but surprisingly look nice.
    I'd found this bare frame quite awhile back + recently added period correct parts. The r
    ear S2 is off an exercise bike + laced to a Bendix red band coaster. Front has SR fat hub + both have very decent chrome w/ some imperfections. Front tire is brand new + rear has only few slight cracks..........both non Schwinn.
    Chrome isn't great on bars + nearly gone on strut, but both have been treated to prevent rusting.
    Bike has a '65 fork + crank.
    The seat is dirty + couple slight stains, but no cuts + is an off brand polo ( Not a Troxel ! ) . The green glitter chubs have painted in "Schwinn" lettering + blend well!
    Bike has fresh grease throughout + ready for summer fun !
