This is a complete working system.
The power supply is a Vicor VI-LFY-CU / 3.3VDC, 30 amps output.  The Vicor power supply has a DC volt / amperage meter powered by a 9v battery.
Current output is adjusted with a 10 turn potentiometer.
Current is measured through a shunt connected to the DC meter.
The Vicor provides DC power to a Nuvonyx Fiber Array Laser Diode that outputs
808nm
laser light at a maximum of
10 watts
.
The 808nm laser light is then directed through a fiber optic cable to the input of the Jenoptik JOL-SHG2.1 module which converts the 808nm to 1064nm then to 532nm (Green) laser light.
The rated output power of the
Jenoptik JOL-SHG2.1 is
3.5 watts
.  I do not have a power meter to test the actual wattage of the
Jenoptik
laser.  However, when the 808nm FAP laser is conducting at full current, the output of the Jenoptik laser is intense.
The power output of both of these lasers is dangerous and will cause burns and permanent eye damage.
