Pre-WWII 1926 USMC Globe Stamping Die for EGA Hat Badge AS IS * MC LILLEY
From the archives of MC Lilley, this listing is for an antique stamping die that was used to make the globe portion of a pre-WWII United States Marine Corps EGA hat badge.  The serial number (#5268) dates to the 1926-1927 period.  The die has base dimensions 2 ½” square, top dimensions 2” square, and it stands 2 ⅞” high.  The die weighs 4 lb 2 oz and
the condition is Poor due to a very bad die crack with displacement.  This die is being sold ONLY for decoration and should NEVER be used for stamping again.
