WWII PERIOD GILT on STERLING ARMY CROSSED RIFLES INSIGNIA WITH DANGLING HEARTS EMBOSSED WITH "FROM" AND "TO" ON EACH HEART. THESE WERE USUALLY PX PURCHASES AND WERE GIVEN ENGRAVED "FROM" A SOLDIER "TO" HIS SWEETHEART.  The pin is gilt, is pin back with locking catch, and is a Scarce Homefront pin from this era. Excellent overall condition. Just coming out of old collection recently acquired.
